Pelvic Health
Occupational Therapists have a unique ability to analyse activity and concepts through an occupational focused lense. The impact a woman’s cycle has on her day to day occupations can be greater than expected to the point of reducing participation in personal cares, domestic tasks and productive activities including social connections and paid employment.
Second Nature OT is here to help women who may experience an impact on their daily lives as a result of living with Endometriosis, Polycystic Ovaries Syndrome, Premenstrual Disphoric Disorder, Menopause and other pelvic health conditions.
We can help to identify strategies to improve symptoms including:
- Fatigue management
- Pain management
- Tracking and habit stacking
- Impacts on completing work tasks, selfcares, carer roles and domestic activities.
- Mood management
